The Importance of Business Training

We spend most of our lives working for someone else. Most of us spend 40-50 hours a week at our jobs. We work for promotions, appreciation, and the monetary rewards we receive. We also work in jobs we love; with coworkers we enjoy. For many of you, work can be a stressful environment.  There may be drama, discord, poor management, little support, and low morale. While these things exist in many, if not most, business environments, there are great ways to change that dynamic and create a business atmosphere that is thriving and supportive.

In my work as an EAP counselor for 6 years, I discovered many of my clients were struggling with workplace situations that were causing them stress, anxiety, depression, and uncertainty. I began to develop my trainings with the focus on the human element of day-to-day business.  The human element is your staff. The people who run the front office, who work on the production floor, and who provide good customer service each day. My business trainings were developed with individuals’ stories and experiences in mind.

I offer various trainings for small to medium-sized organizations. These trainings have been developed with some of the most common themes in mind. One of my most popular trainings is focused on work/life balance. Work/life balance is important to help reduce stress, enhance productivity and maintain employee motivation. Creating healthy work environments for your employees can yield positive results for your business outcomes. It is essential to shed light on how you can encourage and support a great work/life balance environment.

Building a solid working team and effective communication are essential for a supportive work environment. The trainings I offer to businesses will focus on the human element for these two topics. Finally, effective leadership is the cherry on the cake. There is a trickledown effect in business, and it starts at the top. Good leaders, supportive managers, and great supervisors will lead their teams to success in many areas. It has been said that people don’t leave bad jobs, they leave bad bosses and companies.

I can offer you business trainings that focus on the needs of your organization.  The trainings I offer are informative, fun, and engaging. Your business deserves the best.

Let me help lead you in a positive direction.  Are you ready?
